Our Walking Group meets every other week for a stroll through the lovely Fife countryside, usually followed by a light lunch.
The walks are open to anyone with Parkinson's and their supporters. We look forward to sharing a Friday walk with you soon.
The group meets every other Friday and the well organised walks are suitable for all abilities because we all have good days and bad days. Our walks vary in distance and are mostly on the level with small inclines. On some of the longer walks we have a car at the midway point to take anyone to the finish if required. We walk throughout Fife trying to find interesting walks and scenery. After our walk we try to finish at a café for refreshments.
If you are a Fife Branch Member you can get further details on the Walking Group programme at the PASSWORD PROTECTED PAGE or CONTACT US for details.
Walking Football
We have teamed up with Walking Football Scotland, Raith Rovers and Dunfermline Athletic to bring a weekly session of Walking Football to Fife.
Sessions are at the Raith Rover's ground at Stark's Park and are every Friday at 1:30pm.
We meet once a month, on the third Tuesday of the month, at the Hollywood Bowl in Dunfermline.
Enjoy a lively game and whether you use the bumpers or not we won’t be judgmental because we all have good and bad days. It’s the taking part that counts.
We meet every Wednesday at the Abbeyview Bowling Club for a competitive game - but don’t worry because it’s just for fun and all abilities are welcome.
Bowls are supplied and coaching is given if required and we have a break halfway through for a drink and chat.
The Coffee and Chat group meet every two weeks to discuss various topics and 'put the world to rights' They sometimes broach the subject of Parkinson`s, but this is not their main talking point.
You’ll find details on the events page or CONTACT US.
Quality of Life Group
This is an exclusive ‘members only’ group. To be a member you must have Parkinson’s.
We meet on the first Tuesday of every month in Dunfermline. It is an informal group where we can talk freely about our Parkinson’s, our mental health, coping tips and anything else that we want to share. You know what they say, a problem shared…..
We always feel much more positive and ready to take on the world after our 'get-togethers'.
If you are caring for someone with Parkinson's and you could do with some time away so that you can recharge your batteries, the carers cafe in Cupar is the place for you.
This group is just for carers where you can relax with friends who share your experiences. It's a place where you can discuss all aspects of caring for someone with Parkinson's in complete confidence.

Meeting on Mondays and Wednesdays. In association with 'Bums Off Seats'. People from all age groups can take part. Quite simply it involves whole body exercise. But the potential benefits are many, according to medical experts. In particular, people with Parkinson’s can benefit from improved balance and posture, protection for hip and knee joints and better muscle tone.
