Walking Group Stepping Out

The group met at the west car park and climbed the hill to the castle, where they were treated to an exquisite display of Snowdrops in full bloom as well as the intriguing architecture of the newly restored castle. Workers and grounds people were busy beavering away, tidying up and preparing the gardens for the summer.

They finished off the walk with lunch (in some cases not even a light lunch) at the Red Lion PH in the village.
